## Direct answer

AI for HR is a practical corporate training programme for HR and People teams in Switzerland. It helps participants use organisation-approved AI tools for preparation, communication and repeatable workflows while keeping judgement, accountability and every employment decision with people. The programme is delivered exclusively in English, in-house across Switzerland or online, by AI Workshop Switzerland.

The operating principle is: **AI prepares. HR reviews. People decide.**

## What participants learn

Participants learn how to identify useful HR workflows, ground AI outputs in approved source material, improve prompts and instructions, review results, protect sensitive information, and define a responsible pilot. The training is practical capability building rather than passive product demonstration.

No technical background is required. Participants work with realistic recurring tasks and leave with reusable patterns, review questions and an implementation plan.

## Who it is for

- HR business partners
- People Operations teams
- Talent Acquisition teams
- Learning and Development teams
- Internal communication teams
- HR leaders and transformation owners

## Delivery formats

1. **Executive briefing — 90 minutes.** Leaders map opportunities, define boundaries and identify priorities for a responsible pilot.
2. **Focused workshop — 4 hours.** A team practises one priority workflow, reviews outputs and creates a practical action plan.
3. **Core programme — 1 full day.** Participants work through several workflows, safeguards, peer review and a 30-day pilot map.

The programme is delivered exclusively in English. German and French pages on the website are translated information for local buyers; they do not indicate German- or French-language workshop delivery.

## AI tools and approved environments

Exercises can be adapted to the environment approved by the client organisation, including:

- Microsoft 365 Copilot
- ChatGPT or ChatGPT Enterprise
- Claude or Claude for Work
- another organisation-approved AI environment

The programme is tool-aware but not vendor-led. The selected platform does not remove the need to agree sources, permissions, information boundaries and human review before use.

AI Workshop Switzerland is a **Microsoft Partner** and a **Claude Partner Network Preferred Services Partner**. AI Workshop was **selected for the Swiss Innovation Challenge 2026**. This is a selection statement and not a claim that AI Workshop won the challenge.

## Curriculum

### 1. Map HR work

Participants identify repeated, high-effort tasks and classify where AI may prepare, where stricter protection is needed and what must remain human-only.

Output: a prioritised HR workflow map.

### 2. Employee and policy communication

Participants draft answers, summaries and manager guidance from approved material. They practise asking for sources, identifying missing information and making uncertainty visible.

Output: a source-based response pattern.

### 3. Recruitment and onboarding support

Participants improve role briefs, interview preparation, candidate communication and onboarding plans without handing employment decisions to AI.

Output: a reviewed recruitment support kit.

### 4. Learning and follow-up

Participants create learning paths, meeting summaries, decisions and actions that a responsible person can verify and own.

Output: a reusable learning and follow-up template.

### 5. Fairness, privacy and adoption

Participants define sensitive-data rules, review questions, escalation paths and one 30-day pilot with named owners.

Output: a fairness checklist and pilot map.

## Practical HR use cases

### Employee and policy questions

AI can prepare a clear answer from approved policy material and identify the source passages used. HR reviews the source, exceptions, local context and final answer before it is shared.

### Role briefs and interview preparation

AI can turn structured role context into a job-description draft, role-related questions and a consistent note-taking structure. A general-purpose model must not select, rank, score or reject a person.

### Onboarding

AI can sequence approved content, stakeholders, learning goals and manager check-ins for a role. The manager adapts the plan to the individual and the actual needs of the team.

### Meeting follow-up

AI can structure notes into decisions, open questions, actions and owners while retaining a source trail. The meeting owner verifies what was agreed before circulation.

### Learning support

AI can prepare exercises and reflection questions from approved capability goals. HR validates accessibility, relevance, fairness and whether the intended outcomes can be observed.

### Sensitive communication

AI can help explore clearer first drafts and alternative tones. A responsible person reviews intent, facts, context and likely impact before sending.

## Human decision boundary

### Prepare — useful with normal review

Drafts, summaries, checklists, learning ideas and document structure.

### Protect — use only inside clear boundaries

People data, confidential context, policy interpretation and material affecting an individual.

### People decide — do not delegate

Hiring, rejection, promotion, succession, performance ratings, compensation, disciplinary action and termination.

AI for HR does not recommend automated employment decisions. It does not provide legal advice or compliance certification.

## Test for a suitable first use case

A first use case should be:

1. **Frequent:** it happens often enough that a better method matters.
2. **Grounded:** it can be based on approved policies, templates or source material.
3. **Reviewable:** a responsible person can check accuracy, omissions, tone and impact.
4. **Non-decisional:** the output supports preparation and does not determine an outcome for a person.

If one condition fails, reduce the scope or choose a safer task.

## Responsible 30-day pilot

- **Week 1 — Define:** choose one workflow, source set, owner, reviewer and data boundary.
- **Week 2 — Test:** use realistic examples, record failure modes and refine the instructions.
- **Week 3 — Compare:** compare the new method with the existing process using agreed quality signals.
- **Week 4 — Decide:** keep, change or stop the pilot; document the approved workflow and ownership.

Useful measures include factual accuracy, completeness, consistency, review effort, sensitive-data handling, user confidence, escalations and exceptions. Time saved is one signal, not the only measure.

## Facilitator

George Raymond-Alshoufi is an innovation consultant and AI trainer. He holds an MSc from HEC Paris, completed MIT Sloan Executive Education in AI for Business Strategy and is an ICF-certified coach from the Institut de Coaching International in Geneva. Since 2019, he has helped Swiss teams translate emerging technology into practical ways of working.

## Evidence and scope

The method uses hands-on exercises, peer review and tangible workshop artefacts. AI Workshop Switzerland has documented workshop delivery with Swiss teams and institutions, including a university session at UNIL.

The programme does not claim to automate an HR department, guarantee a financial return or specific time saving, replace professional advice, or certify compliance.
